The Romans named the Požega region Vallis Aurea– Golden valley, a valley which offers each its guest an unforgettable experience of enjoying selected wines.

The Slavonian way programme offers a genuine experience of East Croatian wine and dine selection. The geographical location of the vineyards, the rich soil, the microclimate conditions and the centuries old tradition of wine making present its heritage through three vineyards, each unique and representative in its own way. The Požega-Pleternica, Kutjevo and Pakrac vineyardsare through the Slavonian way programme connected with more than 30 wine cellars. In addition to selected wines of various fruity aromas, the guests can taste regional culinary specialties like sausages, bacon, pork cracklings, local fruit and vegetable, homemade bread and pastry made in a traditional bakery on firewood, freshwater fish and homemade traditional cakes. Graševinawhite wine is the most popular Croatian wine. With its lavish aroma, rich scent and flavour, golden-green to crystal clear colour and numerous flowery, fruity and spicy sensations, it gives off a harmonious and full taste. The climate specific location of Slavonian vineyards is suited for a production of an assortment of Graševina wine sorts, from quality selected sorts up to desert wines. In addition to Graševina, the Slavonian way programmeoffers wine tasting of Chardonnay, Pinor gris, Riesling, Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau white wines and Blue frankish, Zweigelt, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon red wines.
